Makers of 快播成人网 is a showcase of the fabulous array of creations by hands-on artists here at 快播成人网.
Throughout May, you鈥檒l discover a wide range of high-quality student artwork across a broad range of disciplines from textiles to glass-making, ceramics to jewellery.
This includes our flagship 鈥� taking place at 鈥� but you鈥檙e also invited to explore exhibitions happening across the college, including in the Waterloo Centre鈥檚 Barry Till, Cardew and Foyer galleries, and at our North Kensington and Chelsea Centres too.
Throughout the month we’ll be introducing you to new and innovative artists coming through the 快播成人网 arts programmes or working in partnership with us. (We鈥檙e particularly excited by a new collaboration with local art collective , taking place in the North Kensington Centre for Skills later in May.)

- 10th April – 9th May
MADE at 快播成人网 is a biennial exhibition of Jewellery and Textile student work made at 快播成人网. Textile students have taken inspiration from motifs and words used to signal ideas and reflect cultural Zeitgeist. Jewellery have worked to the theme of re-purposing materials alongside traditional jewellery making skills. While our stained glass students have developed designs to introduce colour and light to a given space.

Work in progress featuring a range of 2D design developments by first year HND Ceramics students.
The starting point for their surface designs was researching inspirational artists. Students then produced a range of surface designs for ceramics for specific retail design contexts. Students have investigated surface designs using digital and 2D surface disciplines, exploring layering, pattern and motif.

A new permanent arts space is arriving in North Kensington in 2024, as 快播成人网
dedicates significant space to the local arts scene at its North Kensington Centre for Skills on Wornington Road. 鈥極PEN – An Open Exhibition鈥� will be curated by Toby Laurent Belson, and Ron
Best, two local artists with decades of experience between them of exhibitions and teaching in the local area.

MADE at 快播成人网 2 showcases the outstanding work by Drawing, Painting & Ceramics Students attending a wide range of courses here at 快播成人网.

- Barry Till Gallery, Waterloo Centre
This exhibition is the Interim show of our current Zsuzsi Roboz Scholars. Both are painters with an interest in figuration depicting the human form within particular domestic and urban environments that also consider the politics of representation. Alice Mendelowitz is interested in mixing up the intimate, the crass, the banal and the decorative. While, Marco Piccari鈥檚 practice revolves around the struggle to find a safe place for one鈥檚 identity – and the inevitable escapism, through places of virtual and physical refuge.

- Foyer, Waterloo Centre
This show is made up of the work of students from the Introduction to Stained Glass; the Intermediate Stained Glass; and the Evening Stained Glass workshop. The beginners have completed simple panels, which have taught them the techniques necessary to produce any stained glass panel. Students have either worked from cartoons or made panels to their own designs. Most of the pieces are made using lead and coloured glass, although some pieces are made using a technique called copper-foiling.
PERMANENT COLLECTION
Since its foundation in 1889 by Emma Cons, 快播成人网 College has always had at the heart of its mission to make education accessible to all. The 鈥楶enny Lectures鈥� at The Old Vic, the first nucleus from which the college originated, covered a range of interests and topics in the scientific, historical, literary, and social fields, alternating with games and various forms of entertainment. The Permanent Collection originates from this long history, gathering the works of students and teachers who have been and still are part of the college鈥檚 life, telling a visual story of all those people who have lived in the classrooms and walked the corridors of the college.

and processes. We will dive into our personal experiences and how learning though textiles enriches our lives. We will be chatting to tutors, student (past and present) alongside special guests.
Waterloo鈥檚 Fifth Plinth
快播成人网 College Waterloo is delighted to announce the installation of our new 鈥淔ifth Plinth鈥� sculpture by long-standing 快播成人网 artist Patsy Hickman.
Selected by an expert panel and developed over the last year, the sculpture is entitled 鈥淩enewal鈥�, and is a joyous celebration of the 快播成人网 community coming together to celebrate friendship and learning.
Visit any time, just outside the entrance to the Waterloo Centre for Adult Education.
